Welcome. This is the new website for Internationally renowned Wildlife and Landscape artist Paul Apps. Here you will be able to keep up with all that is happening with Paul, able to purchase new and existing fine art limited editions prints, along with a great choice of collectable originals on offer to enjoy owning and to invest in. Paul will also be keeping his long established blog 'Tales from the Easel' so book mark the site and pop back as often as you wish. Details on art tuition/ coaching opportunities, workshops, online demonstrations, Art society demonstrations, one to one tuition, weekly art groups, online tuition and you tube dvd demonstrations can be found by scrolling through the various tabs above. The South East Open Studio Event starting 7th June for two Weeks
For many years the South East of England has hosted the now well established South Eastern Open Studios Event.An event where participating artists within the area open their respective studio spaces to the interested public. For two weeks starting on Friday 7th these studios will be available to visit. A guide can be picked up for free showing you how and where to find and visit these studios, or a visit to www.seos.org will give you great information. Or if all else fails call me on 07746 887815 and I will help you out.I will be opening my studios to visitors from Friday the 7th of June. I will be open 9.30am to 5.00pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the duration of the event. Wednesday's times are 1pm to 6pm.
I will be closed on Monday and Tuesday when I shall be teaching. During the two weeks of this event i shall be working as normal in my space, painting and creating art. I shall be talking and answering your questions about my work. I shall have originals on the wall including many new and unseen images to tempt you, along with all my available fine art limited edition prints. Even a few of these are new to my clients. The prices for my works, prints and otherwise start at £15.00 and stop around £7000 for one of my large sought after wildlife canvasses. To tempt you further I have been going through some of my watercolours, sketches, charcoal drawings and oils on paper. That done, I chose some and have presented them mounted in a browser for sale. The prices will range from £55 up to £225 for the larger oil studies. So something for everyone I hope. So please pop to Hythe in Kent, pick up a guide and find me among many of my fellow artists - number 208 on the trail.
